Has anyone had problems completing "To the rescue" in Linkei Township. I held off the attack from the Afflicted and then killed all afflicted roaming in the area. But the mission still says "Defend Linkei Township against the afflicted".

Both the professor and kai ying died in the mission. Has that got anything to do with it?

"Realised that the small village down near the lake was linkei as well. Two afflicted were battling it out with the villagers...doh!"

I'm so glad i found this post. I'm in the middle of the quest and had the same thing happen.. Couldn't see and mobs left.. turns out they were around the corner fighting the merchant at the town. First time in 24 characters it's happened to me.

hmm, I doubt if this is the Linkei quest you are referring to....anyways, here goes:

If I remember correctly that is exactly the reason why you won't procedeed with the quest. I used the extra henchies for other quests in that area (bog beast and other quests from that miller dude). Some died in process. When I wanted to enter Zen Dajun, I couldnt, because my the npcs were dead.
